Our Department Faculty Member’s TÜBİTAK 1002-A Project Has Been Approved for Funding


Our department faculty member Dr. Ahmet Bolat is the principal investigator of a project that has been approved for funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Program, conducted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) Research Support Programs Directorate.

The project titled “Examining the Effect of Artificial Intelligence-Supported Science Course Teaching Materials on Students’ Higher-Order Thinking Skills and Metacognitive Awareness” will be carried out with the contributions of:

  • Prof. Dr. Sevilay Karamustafaoğlu (Amasya University),

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Kör (Hitit University),

  • Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım (Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University) as advisors,

  • and Dr. Ömer Faruk Divarcı (Ministry of National Education) as a researcher.

In addition, graduate student Betül Özdarendeli and undergraduate student Atakan Aslan will take part in the project as scholarship holders.

The project is expected to contribute to both the literature and educational practices by examining the role of artificial intelligence-supported teaching materials in improving learning processes.
